The teens began fighting each other in the streets, dealing drugs, and underage drinking.

16 people were arrested or received juvenile petitions…

A 20-year-old was caught with a CONCEALED WEAPON.

His punishment?

An UNSECURED $2,500 bond.

He paid NOTHING and walked RIGHT BACK OUT!!!

An 18-year-old caught with drugs to sell near a PARK?

Unsecured $5,000 bond. Paid nothing. Walked.

Business owners are asking “WHERE ARE ALL THE PARENTS?!!!!”

The police are so overwhelmed they are now BEGGING the city for a CURFEW.

According to a source:
The Secretary of the NC Dept. of Adult Corrections, Leslie Dismukes (who has never worked in a prison) announced to employees of Craggy Correctional Center in Buncombe County that she is closing the facility and plans to sell the property for $100Million.

She reportedly told the employees that they spent an $80Million grant from the #NCGA in one day.

She said they are reopening the 100-bed minimum custody facility in Marion, NC to replace Craggy (but Craggy has 400 beds).

She reportedly said the NC Legislature has nothing to do with closing prisons. (I'm not sure this is actually true.)

She reportedly told employees on the virtual call that the Department has been using money for unfilled positions to fund ongoing operations, and that this will likely continue next year, too.

Staff is wondering whether they will be transferred to other facilities or fired.
