the way Steinn simply breaks Solrun's faith, the way he makes her a non-believer when all she has done in her life was believe, has gotten me thinking
like, anti-theists always try to apply logic and reason to things that, by definition, don't follow that
and when believers lose the one thing that grounds them, it's visceral
in conclusion I think Steinn is evil and so are most anti-theists :)
the book we read was the silly adventures of a child who was, admittedly, dumb
the book by the other guy (one of my fave authors now) is about philosophy - Sartre, Socrates and everyone else
i'll never forget that i got to know one of my favourite authors because my mom bought me a book that she thought was written by the same person who had written a book we both enjoyed
the books are wildly different
book: *describes itself as a woman who is sexual and a criminal*
me: ah, a black widow
book: is actually about a lady who accidentally accepts her bf killing her father, maims her bf and fucks her brother
anyways I too plot crimes with my cat, and if I ever need to get rid of my bf for a little bit I too will put my cat on his pillow
