I didn’t say or assume that having a game with a different protagonist is because of budgeting.

I get what you’re saying that games build fanbases, but in no way having a siloed fanbase is positive for games. Instead, it’s what creates toxic behavior among players.

Not every game is meant for everyone. Sure, we as players choose what we play, like and dislike, but that should not hinder other players’ choices.

This game looks promising. Kratos will return later on with his own next game. No need for drama.

Opinionating on the creative work of people developing high-value production video games is why the gaming industry is in its current state.

I like playing games and I’m just pointing out the obvious. Most people wouldn’t last one week inside a real production pipeline but still they talk like they understand budgets, deadlines, engines, teams, QA, publishers, marketing, and insane player expectations.

Disliking a game is fair, but pretending complex creative work is simple, is toxic behavior.

@DestinLegarie I believe Faye will have her own couple of games, then Atreus will probably have his own standalone game, and then things will get totally out of hand in the Everywhen and Kratos will return.

God of War: Laufey feels like setup for something MASSIVE 🤯

Faye in the realm of dead gods. Atreus on his own journey. Fallen gods from different mythologies possibly crossing paths, forming alliances, fighting for control of whatever world, realm or dimension comes next.

And somewhere down the line… I can absolutely see everything spiraling so far out of control that Kratos has no choice but to return as the central force again. ⚔️

This time not as a father trying to escape war, but as the Ghost of Sparta coming back to save everyone.

This could be the beginning of the biggest God of War arc yet and I can't wait to play it!! 🎮

@SynthPotato It's only been a year since PS5 has games release exclusively for it. So far we've been getting games for PS4 & PS5. No way this is for PS6.
