@EclairleNoir The mobo will control the 5v and 3.3v power. It's going to help with Temps and strain on your power supply. And less stuff getting fried from lightning
@EclairleNoir We don't talk about those cpus anymore. Before the ryzen 7 2700x came out (8c,16t)
I had a amd fx 8320 (8c,16t) it was nice because price per performance was better than anything Intel had... It was a bitch to cool. That's when I started water cooling.
@EclairleNoir I'm just saying wait till next year before you go balls to the wall on a build. Everything is over priced and we are on the edge of a new Era of computing. Also one thing that I found cool was, psu makers are going to start producing power supplys that only have 12v output.
