@TiliTiliBom_ Clint didn’t want to get up. He was in one of his rare moods that left him drained and upset. He’d even shut off his phone before lying down- something he never did.
“Ten more minutes...” He knew Nat wouldn’t go for it, but he wouldn’t be him if he didn’t try.
@TiliTiliBom_ He shook his head, lips twitching. He refused to react beyond that to her teasing.
“I’m thinking water gun. There’s no way it’s real, but he’s gotta be more creative than finger guns.”
An arrow slid easily and discreetly into place on his bow.
@TiliTiliBom_ He grinned, accepting the bow with a slight nod of his head.
“These guys are amateurs. It’s just dumb luck that I didn’t have any weapons on me.”
He nudged her shoulder with his playfully.
@TiliTiliBom_ He would have groaned if it wouldn’t have attracted the wrong kind of attention. He knew what she wanted to see.
“Yeah, yeah. Thanks. You’re the best.” With any luck, he wouldn’t give her anything to laugh about.
@TiliTiliBom_ “Look, it’s not my fault. It just kinda... happens.”
He wasn’t sure how he was going to get out of this one with his dignity. Of 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘦 the store was getting robbed. And his bow was sitting at home.
“It’ll be fine. I just want to get out of this without making the news.”
