Employers are completely right. A 4 year experienced techie making 7.2 LPA asking for 16 LPA is deeply offensive to the corporate ecosystem. Red Flag🚩
When you go to buy a house worth ₹1.5 Cr in today's market, you should definitely tell the owner: I saw your registry papers from 2019. You bought this for ₹50 Lakhs. I will give you a standard 30% hike. Take ₹65 Lakhs and be grateful.
The owner will definitely appreciate your logical CTC calculation.
Did these same founders fight with the Finance Minister when the basic income tax exemption recently changed from ₹7 Lakhs to ₹12 Lakhs?
Did they tweet: madam, a 70% jump is unacceptable! The standard hike is only 30%?
Of course not. Because everybody understands real world inflation, rent hikes and market conditions.
But God forbid a salaried employee asks to be paid their actual current market value instead of a percentage based on their previous company's exploited rate.
Please continue offering them ₹9.3 LPA, rejecting them and then writing 500 word LinkedIn essays about feeling out of touch with this generation.
A Maruti temple which I regularly visit on Saturday has done some upgrade from the money which came from centre. The MLA formed a trust on which he and his Son is there.
In late November, gold ornaments got stolen twice bcoz there is no gate to close to the GarbhaGriha.
I just asked the Young Pujari who is also the head of the temple why didnt they install the gate when everything else is renovated unnecessarily.
He told me that every week the trust people come and take away all the money that's in the Daanpeti. Some fixed money is given by the trust for food but they are asking me to save money from it and make the gate.
This is how the Hindutva of current government works.
Request to all Hindus, please stop donating Gold and Money in the Temples. It's ultimately going to go the hands of Dhando hyenas + Local Ha₹amkhor Politicians

Saw a post from a founder who interviewed a candidate with 4 years of experience. The candidate's current CTC was ₹7.2 LPA and he asked for ₹16 LPA. The founder rejected him and then publicly posted about it, claiming that the current generation is out of touch with reality.
We live in a world where fresh graduates from top colleges are routinely hired at ₹10–20 LPA. Against that backdrop, a professional with 4 years of experience asking for ₹16 LPA doesn't sound unreasonable at all. It works out to a little over ₹1.3 lakh per month before taxes, which isn't exactly over ask when you consider the cost of living in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, or Mumbai.
Person's current salary doesn't always reflect their actual value or potential. Many talented people are underpaid because of the companies, industries, or circumstances they started in.
As a founder, question should be: can this person create value, solve problems, and justify the cost? If the answer is yes and it fits your budget, hire them. If not, move on.
@Jigyasu_chhoro@taxmuktbharat@kumarnihar A language should have alphabets, grammar. Sambalpuri is not a language historically. Marwadis started this propaganda.
@taxmuktbharat@raghuvir_sainik@kumarnihar This debate should have happened when your forefathers accepted Hindi and killed your languages. Now these languages are just another dialect, you accept or not, govt doesn't consider them as language
All those giving gyaan here that I should have asked his expectation before evaluation, is this the way it is done nowadays? So we first ask the resource what he expects and then if we can afford it we evaluate? Seriously?
@taxmuktbharat@Jigyasu_chhoro@kumarnihar I'm not an ostrich putting my head under sand. Govt institutionally has been killing non Hindi languages. Hindi people also do that.
