@QuincyAvery Its shocking how disingenuous Quincy is being, players can negotiate whatever they want through NIL that’s not the argument. The argument is the schools rev share payments that are double & tripling every year. The entirety of college football can’t sustain that let alone Olympic
@Rileybushh It’s the same scenario. NIL is the free market. Collective revenue sharing is money the school divides up. Instead of using the 200k for the 18yo use that for other teams or travel etc. get the booster & companies to pay that kid the money now everyone wins
@Rileybushh SO WHY REV SHARE? Texas State just got a gymnastics team. They are soon going to the pac12. Football doesn’t make that much at Txst, so why give a recruit 200k from that rev share when a lot of them transfer out without ever playing. Share it in a better way or don’t share at all
@Rileybushh How’s it a free market if they are sharing money? I think you need to research more. That’s like saying chemistry gets 80% funding here but geo science is 5% funded
@Rileybushh No it can’t not all of it. NIL is not the university. The money schools give out is not NIL and had regulations. He is saying those regulations heavily sway to fb & bb so let’s say softball would get maybe 2-3 percent of that.
@LNehls5@geoffschwartz I think they just hate saban Logan. He never said make less, you can make whatever you like through NIL but the collective revenue sharing needs share needs to be addressed. The two are very different things
@Rileybushh You’re saying the universities use the collective revenue sharing to pay coaches? You should look that up again. Coaches get paid in varies ways and it’s not all from the university
@gabriella_15401@coachCJohnson88@the_virtualSC How many of those did you have? How often does that happen? Should you model training to improve conditioning of a play that may go 100yards?
@gabriella_15401@coachCJohnson88@the_virtualSC Said your conditioning should mimic football just like Indy drills, didn’t say do football in the summer. 110s don’t mimic football that’s like making a sprinter & making him practice with long distance runners
