Hibernating crypto brainlet. I hope I have given you all the answers you were looking for. My DMs are open, message anytime.
As always, Stay humble, pat dogs.
@Jeremybtc It was a very strange time and very heart-warming to witness. Pain in the ass dealing with everyone treating what happened like a bad thing though. We helped millions of people and that was super fuckin cool. 🫡
Someone sent $0 worth of a dog coin to a man who didn't ask for it. He turned it into the largest crypto donation in history.
> In August 2020 an anonymous person calling himself Ryoshi launched Shiba Inu with one quadrillion tokens
> It had no investors, no VCs or a press release.
> His plan, written in something he called a "woofpaper", was to send 50% of the entire supply directly to Vitalik Buterin.
> He just sent him 500 trillion SHIB tokens to his wallet without warning.
> His reason was: "There is no greatness without a vulnerable point. As long as VB doesn't rug us, Shiba will grow and thrive."
> He intentionally made the co-founder of Ethereum the single largest holder of his memecoin as a marketing strategy without ever telling him.
> Vitalik woke up one day with 50% of a dog coin sitting in his wallet and had no idea what to do with it.
> By May 2021 those tokens were worth over $1 billion.
> He donated 50 trillion SHIB to India's COVID-19 relief fund
> Worth $1.2 billion at the time it was the largest crypto donation in history.
> Then burned 410 trillion of the remaining tokens, destroying $6.7 billion in a single transaction
> Saying he didn't want to be a "locus of power" in a dog coin project.
> SHIB pumped on the news of the burn.
> In May 2022 Ryoshi deleted every account, every blog post, every trace of himself and disappeared.
> His last words: "I am not important, and one day I will be gone without notice. Take the SHIBA and journey upwards frens."
> Nobody knows who he is. He never sold a single token.
The coin he built reached a $40 billion market cap. None of it was supposed to work and all of it did.
@ChorizoATH@socalstreet@nftimm@chrisisch No workers were looked for, I headed everything I could when the discord was just a nub. I'm just talking about how comparatively project leads pay themselves ridiculous amounts of money. Even myself being in at the time the 4th most popular crypto, never reached that close.
@socalstreet@nftimm@chrisisch I didn't even get close to this working with SHIB (I didn't even get that in a year.) or other projects, I think high end project leads and etc just make up numbers so they don't sound out of place soft rugging the token.
@Laronkes@ShytoshiKusama Good response. Airdrops are a fast way to being scammed and losing everything you built. No matter the kind offer on the table, something can slip somewhere and it all falls apart.
We must be diligent.
It's also free advertising for them in lieu of a much bigger project.
@ShytoshiKusama I'd be mighty weary. Airdrops are a fast way to expose holders and also open play to malicious actors. You can have missteps even in the face of kind offers, and it could risk heavily putting the #shibarmy at risk through this.
Whatever the choice, tready it mighty careful.
@PixOnChain It's kind of nuts still that so many coins came after SHIB. Doge was considered a joke. Then SHIB happened and suddenly everyone wants to be a animal or meme coin.
Somewhat exhausting though. Whole year of micromanaging online what's trash or not burnt my brains.
@D3inc Hey there D3inc. If you're able to remove/limit specific names I'd suggesting locking specific ones like my previous name, or anyone else who's currently a team member/previously.
Imitation is quite common and it'd probably be safer not to take that risk.
Oh last post by the way, and then going back to silence on posts.
I re-opened my DMs. Anyone can message again. Twitter auto turned on 'only verified accounts' for some reason, so if you wanted to get in touch, as always, I'm here.
Keep it steady, stay humble, pat dogs.
~Cat.
@Ryoshivision777 I'm never not back nor am I ever gone. I'm always here, and I always check in regularly enough. I'm just out of crypto. I don't do any work anymore nor do I work with any company or token.
Like I said, I'll serve the community as long as I live so.
Hopefully soon, I can join.
@Ryoshivision777 Oh no buddy I have zero shib left, like I said, ALL of my accounts were wiped. I had everything taken.
RIP. Good luck, hope you're making green out there.
