Charley tries shaking his head at the choices Jerry was giving him.
But hurt his hair and head.

Before he can finish his sentence Jerry had crossed the room in a flash and now was grasping a fistful of his hair.

Charley had been worried sick about his girlfriend.

He had called her let's say more than a months telephone bill.

He tries to calm himself down and tries to call her one more time.

He holds the phone to his ear waiting patiently.
