Can I finally justify making one of these? Here is a year of solo game development on Scraptory, an open-world feudal sci-fi sandbox strategy roguelite.
Made some alien trees this weekend. And YES, you can knock them down and crush them with the walking castle, and YES they are super efficient hierarchical instanced static meshes that get dynamically swapped with physics actors by a multi-threaded pooling system only when needed!
