$8,000 would change the next few months of our lives.
It would let me catch up on debts, keep the bills paid, and finally move us into a more stable place. Every dollar I make already goes to helping raise my nieces and nephew. I’m not asking so I can step back. I’m asking so I can keep showing up. Also Christmas is coming up and I want to make it special for them.

Here's a little back story... Their mom left after she found out my nephew was autistic. She left on Christmas Eve. We had just lost our dad. Our mom was sick and later passed. My brother was grieving, trying to keep work, and raising three kids at the same time.

My nephew is 8. He’s nonverbal. He’s also one of the sweetest kids you’ll ever meet. He lives in music — 80s, 90s, early 2000s. He’ll play it all day. That joy is real. The rest of it has been heavy.

He had health issues too. He’s doing so much better now and thriving, which is the one bright line through all of this. I just want the ground under us to stop shaking long enough for that to keep being true.

Your Compton video — walking through and giving people gifts — was one of the kindest things I’ve seen. Same with the car dealership video. You don’t just talk about taking care of people. You do it. You take care of your circle. You honor your parents. That matters. I know you mess with them a lot. It’s all love. I keep you in my prayers either way. I pray you’re blessed tenfold and never lack, because you have a heart of gold and it shows.

This is what $8,000 would do first:
-Catch up past-due bills so nothing gets shut off.
-Put a real dent in the debt that’s been sitting on us.
-Cover the move into a more stable place for the kids.
That would give my brother and me room to keep raising them without falling further behind. It wouldn’t just be money. It would be breathing room for three kids who’ve already lost more than they should have.
