Feeling especially excited and proud to be an advocate today at #CIJAatQP to meet with Ontario MPP’s on Community #Advocacy Day to talk about a range of issues to combat #antisemitism and all forms of hate. @CIJAinfo@HillelOntario
Proof that it's possible for people w/ differing opinions to unify around an issue like #gunviolence. It's possible to connect w/ people you disagree w/. Listen to people around you & their ideas - most successes in the world didn't happen through 1 opinion. We did it together
This time is different. Gun owners are marching with us, republicans are, dems are, everyone who believes in gun safety and peace is marching with us June 11th
Have you lost a loved one to gun suicide, unintentional shooting or gun violence? Post a photo below of them and tell us:
What was their name?
How old were they?
What do you miss most about them?
We need to show people these are people not statistics.
3/3: We’ll be talking about how you can take action to improve #MenstrualHealth & how it affects people locally & globally. @MarciIen will also be speaking! Let’s connect, inspire & create impact using our voice! Sign up: https://t.co/Zvn1Q2Ax1u.

1/3: #DYK 86% of women and those who menstruate in Canada say that period products are too expensive?
Menstrual equity is a human rights issue – no one should have to choose between purchasing menstrual products and a meal. @PlanCanada does an amazing job combatting this.
2/3: Menstruators deserve the opportunity to manage their periods in a safe and dignified
manner. I also believe in the power of youth to shift hearts, minds, stigmas, and laws. That's why I’m so excited to be part of
@PlanCanada’s #StorytellersSymposium on Friday, May 27 5-7PM!
I’ve been working on this for four years and spent every day studying in college the history of how we got here, political science, behavioral economics, and reflecting on how we win.
Mark my words. This time will be different.

Schools are “gun free zones” but nothing stopped an 18 yr from bringing 1 into school bc guns aren’t controlled or regulated. While this won’t change the world, universal background checks will.Just maybe if enough people share their voice, ppl in power will notice & enact change.
I posted this shortly after Parkland. 14 children lost their lives to #gunviolence in Uvalde. In the words of @ChrisMurphyCT: what are we doing? Why are you here?
#NotOneMore
10/17 7,000 pairs of shoes sit outside the US Capitol. 7000 represents the number of children’s lives lost to gun violence since the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. This is heart wrenching. #NotOneMore#ENOUGH#MarchForOurLives
“If there’s hope in our democracy that we’re going to change this, it’s young gens who have had enough of being afraid in schools & grow up like this is normal when it shouldn’t be, they are demanding change & they will help make that change.” - @JulianCastro on #RobbElementary
Action, change, and solutions will come from this horrific school shooting but for now - learn from credible sources, ground yourself in stories, take care of yourself, and watch this.
"14 kids dead in an elementary school in Texas right now. What are we doing? What are we doing? ... We have another Sandy Hook on our hands. What are we doing? ... What are we doing? ... What are we doing?"
— Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) after the Robb Elementary School shooting
