Reading Ian Marchant’s deeply moving new book involves the realisation that the excavation of the past can indeed be among the most pleasurable and purposeful ways of finding meaning in the present

Even though I bought the book when it first came out I like to be read to and have pushed One Fine Day to the top of my listening list ahead of Jenny eclair, Miranda hart and sharon blackie. this came out on audible this week and is an absolute delight. thank you @ThatIanMarchant
@jamescooksey_ It's love. Our owner loves the club and its fans. We love him in return. We know what it's like to have the worst possible owners, who treat the club with contempt. Life long love solves everything.
@RRussellDavies My Mum used it often, and consequently, so do I. There was a Toc-H hall in Morecambe which I used to pass regularly, and can confirm the lamp outside was very dim.
@elonmusk Whilst it's clear you've read Ayn Rand, Illuminatus, Red Mars, etc, what is less clear is whether or not you have the ability to understand them.
@BHAfanUSA@AlbionObsessed Just as I see Musk endorsing Trump, and think, no, that's it, I'm off, the next post I see is Dagan, and I think, I'll hang on a bit...
I at the barrier for Oasis, Glasto 2004. Noel is an astounding guitarist, Liam's stage presence teetered on the edge of self-parody. They played all the hits. I'll not be going this time, so if 21 year old Chloe from Stockport wants my ticket, she's welcome.
Imagine waiting 15 years for Oasis to reform only to lose out on tickets to Chloe, 21 from Stockport who just wants to hear Wonderwall live. #oasisreunion
