12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Learning to ‘do nothing’ is so interesting. Standing still, lying in wait, pausing, are all integral parts of any meaningful journey.
It’s the sharpening of the axe. You must do the tiny unnoticed repeated actions. You must embrace the silence. You must listen. You must learn.
Yes, 7 days to my swearing-in ceremony.
As a master of delulu with a very active imagination, I used to always practice giving a valedictory speech while in the bathroom as a 100 level student. 😂 Crazy right? Even when I started out failing in 200 level incourses I continued.n
You know the type of heartbreaks that hurt the most? The ones from the people who wanted you first. Like I was minding my business and you moved heaven and earth to get my attention only to do this to me?????
I’m convinced when you rekindle a relationship with someone (friend, family, ex, etc ) something will ALWAYS resurface to show you why you should have left it burned and dried up.
Stay away from people who always consider you expressing how you feel as you arguing or being extra. It’s called gaslighting. Toxic people do that so they don’t have to take accountability for their own behavior.
Whenever you find yourself with an uncontrollable urge to sin, whatever it is, sometimes, if not most times, on the other side of the temptation, is something good the enemy is trying to steal. The grace to say NO to sin and the devil receive in Jesus’ name.
I have heard over the years, tales of people who for example, had an open door to some opportunity, and the day or night before, they experience the kind of temptation they hardly see. Unfortunately, they fall. And the next day go for what seemed to be a done deal, only to find that everything has fallen apart.
Remember the devil’s mission statement is to STEAL, KILL & DESTROY. And one of the ways He does it is what I’ve mentioned above .
Stop the thief ! In Jesus’ name.
