Now targeting Friday, July 24 for Starship’s thirteenth flight test, due to weather.
A key objective for the flight test is to get clear imagery from the ground of Starship’s heatshield as it flies at a higher dynamic pressure during ascent, which won't be possible with today's weather conditions. Visibility is forecast to be ideal for a Friday attempt.
@AJamesMcCarthy@elonmusk Now that’s awesome. Id love to move to TX or FL with my wife to work with SpaceX as they continue making history and making the future possible for humans to be a multi planetary species
That bright white patch on Mars isn't snow—it's a permanent lake of water ice inside Korolev Crater.
Protected by a natural "cold trap," the ice remains frozen year-round. For future astronauts, it could provide water, oxygen, and even rocket fuel.
Mars may be drier than Earth, but it's far from waterless. Could ice like this make a human colony possible? 🚀❄️
My husband and I are honored and thrilled to participate in the Invest America program and gift a share of our SpaceX stock to a Trump Account for each of more than two million children across our great nation.
Every American child under 18 can benefit from having a Trump Account, but our gift specifically goes to the Accounts of children (ages 11-17) that live in areas with lower average household incomes with a bit more emphasis for those that live near our central Texas home.
We have been fortunate in our careers and hope this gift encourages the next generation to continue the journey of enabling humanity to live and fly amongst the stars.
A huge thanks to all that worked to bring this incredible program to life.
SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell and her husband have announced that they are donating ~$325 million of SpaceX stock to Trump Accounts for more than two million children across the U.S.
Every one of those kids will now have a direct stake in a company whose mission is the most ambitious in human history: to make life multi-plantary 🚀
Happy birthday to my wonderful son. @elonmusk has given me 55 years of joy.
It’s so much fun to celebrate with family and friends.
His cake is a rocket and a moon base 🎂🎂🎉
@elonmusk Happy Birthday! Wish you nothing but the best this year. I’m looking forward to watching @SpaceX’s progress as you advance our species from global to interplanetary. Im eagerly watching Starship’s progress with each flight, especially now that I also own a tiny stake 😏
Rocket science can be extremely intimidating, but you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to be excited.
Everyday Astronaut - Bringing space down to earth for everyday people
"While spacewalking I realized something, I used to think I was scared of heights but now I know I was just scared of gravity" ― NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman
Imagine a structure so vast that light itself would take 10 BILLION years to cross it.Astronomers have found one of the largest known structures in the observable universe: the Hercules–Corona Borealis Great Wall. They discovered this cosmic behemoth by mapping powerful gamma-ray bursts — the brightest explosions in the cosmos — using them as cosmic beacons to reveal where matter is massively clustered across incomprehensible distances. But here’s the part that breaks cosmology: According to the standard model, the universe should look roughly the same everywhere on the largest scales. Yet this colossal wall stretches far bigger than our theories comfortably allow — challenging everything we thought we knew about how structure forms in the https://t.co/AnpMSLNlyE our understanding of the universe incomplete? Are even larger structures still hiding out there? The Hercules–Corona Borealis Great Wall is a humbling reminder: no matter how advanced our science gets, the universe still loves to surprise us. Every discovery shows just how small we are in the grand scheme… and how breathtakingly extraordinary it all is. If this blew your mind, share it with a fellow space lover!

Payments. Cars. Energy. Space. Social Media. Communications. AI.
History won’t remember the people who said it couldn’t be done.
It will remember the people who did it anyway.
Congratulations Elon.
