I need you guys to drop your hate boner for Viv one moment and register the fact that this is the first original 2D animated film a major company has made in YEARS
Vivziepop if you're the one to force studios to take 2D animation seriously again I will write a public apology and wear Hazbin Hotel merchandise in public
2026 has been a nightmare for Hollywood. Between the Digital Circus finale and Iron Lung, indie creators are proving that we don't need the old system and their gatekeeping
Still a long way to go but it's extremely hopeful and a change for the better
Hey guys, Kevin, CEO of GLITCH here. Been trying to figure out when and how to express this, but now I think is the right time:
To the fans - Thank you, deeply. You are the reason we got here. I know it can get noisy online sometimes, but the real-world reality is that you are some of the most genuine, kind people we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We saw every cosplay, every discussion circle, every sticker shared outside the theatres. That is what this is all about.
To every person at/with GLITCH - I never doubted you for a single second. You are all so incredibly talented, and I am so proud that the impact of your work is now being felt on a world stage.
To the industry - Animation and cinema is art. Art is human expression. Digital Circus was a deeply personal story created to express complex feelings. Please let that be the signal you take from all of this.
To everyone - Keep making things and keep sharing your work. We found all our creators through the internet.
Now, here’s Pomni with her signature dance move.
I really enjoyed the finale to TADC — not sure where all the comments about it being a bad ending is. Protect queer art until it’s not exactly made for you and your experiences apparently. Its not perfect but it was perfectly acceptable
Seeing the way people have been talking about TADC and Backrooms has convinced me that “lore” is the enemy in storytelling right now, people demand you focus on needless worldbuilding and not just tell a meaningful story with themes and symbols you can apply to life itself.

Este capítulo me hizo pasar de no muy fan de trans Jax al mayor defensor que tiene. La escena en la habitación de Ribbit, lo que le dijo a su mamá que hizo que se burlara y que se la pase en un bar queer-friendly, más obvio imposible xd
I just got out of the Digital Circus finale premiere and I have something very important to say:
We were asked TWICE before anything even played to not spoil anything
If you spoil it before everyone else gets to see it, you are a bad person.
That is all
I'm convinced the reason people were calling the TADC finale bad is because they spoiled themselves with the leaks and got upset when it didn't fit their headcanons.
Genuinely a phenomenal movie

It was profoundly inspiring watching the Amazing Digital Circus finale in a theater, knowing something made by talented, passionate internet folks can have this far of a reach and impact on so many people. The ending was beautiful, and it was a treat to witness on the big screen

So Jax is pretty much confirmed to be transfem right? With his mom getting mad at him for “personal reasons”, him not living up to his dad’s expectations (and the military uniform), Ribbit putting the bow on him saying “your secrets safe with me”, his trans flag coloured room with feminine items, his toxic masculinity, and weird mistreatment of the female characters, I think this is the most obvious they can make it that Jax is transfem without actually explicity saying it.
