What an eventful and humbling evening.

Tonight, a proclamation was signed by the Mayor and the entire Oroville City Council honoring Pastime Auto Wash and myself for donating unlimited free car washes to the City of Oroville.

Over 12 years ago, when the City purchased new vehicles, our company made the decision to help protect that investment by keeping Oroville Police Department, Code Enforcement, and other City vehicles clean, shiny, and protected. This agreement was made quietly with the City Administrator at the time, and we never advertised or promoted the donation.

It was simply something we felt was the right thing to do.

After the City Council recently learned about the thousands of washes donated over the years, they chose to recognize that contribution with this proclamation. I am truly honored and humbled.

Thank you to the City of Oroville, the Mayor, the City Council, and all of Oroville’s leadership for recognizing the small things that help make a community stronger.

Pastime Auto Wash is proud to serve this city, support those who serve us, and continue investing in the community we call home.
