I have a big announcement about the future of TOPS. The site is going through some changes to ensure its future as an independent voice of authority on VPNs. See what's happening here: https://t.co/ZFk4yTuErq
If passed, this bill could fulfill a long-standing dream of U.S. law enforcement: the end of private, encrypted messaging on the Internet. https://t.co/l2Zq64rOQU
@TheAmos123 Still waiting for more information I think. In general I don't have enough evidence to show either company has incentive or intentions to improve based on my previously stated concerns, however. Just my opinion.
@elliottbalsley It's always hard to tell, which is why I don't necessarily think warrant canaries are the most reliable tools. I've seen good companies forget, and other companies are possibly pressured to continue updating theirs after compromising actions.
For those of you who are new and looking for good resources to help you take back your privacy - I highly recommend the very useful @privacytoolsIO for recommendations on software, tools, etc.
