just saying it out here,
- they were still at the same point 9 years back, same problems same challenges
- i won one of these in my freshman year and was promised with 15L reward, which btw, not to be surprised about never never proceeded. no formalities no rewards, the authorities literally ghosted.
after continuous complaining for months, they sent a third grade used tablet from olx in a broken box.
Yes this is a true story.
🚨BREAKING!! FIU-India BANS - 25 CRYPTO EXCHANGES
Popular exchanges like Paxful, CEX IO, LBank, BingX, Coinex, AscendEx and CoinW are banned.
Application and URL of these websites will be blocked by IT Ministry soon.
🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk.
The malicious payload works by silently swapping crypto addresses on the fly to steal funds.
If you use a hardware wallet, pay attention to every transaction before signing and you're safe.
If you don’t use a hardware wallet, refrain from making any on-chain transactions for now.
It’s still unclear whether the attacker is also stealing seeds from software wallets directly at this stage.
Excellent report here: https://t.co/5CtiZJHYsN
Indian government just banned online money games.
What's next Crypto?
As lot of offshore companies have stopped their defi operations in India a few months back already, that wouldn't be surprising at all.
#Crypto#OnlineGamingBill2025
The online gaming bill deals a knockout punch to the booming real money gaming industry in India
Impact of real money gaming ban in numbers per industry sources ⏬
Loss of Rs 20,000 Crore in annual tax revenues
Rs 25,000 Crore in FDI write off
Loss of Rs 10,000 Crore in annual spends (Ads/Marketing/Services/Consulting)
400 companies may shut down
Loss of 2,00,000+ high skilled jobs
50 Crore Indians may be pushed to illegal offshore gambling with 0 tax.
Was reading & reflecting on the news about the proposed ban on real-money gaming apps.
I strongly believe banning real-money skill games isn’t the solution. Blanket bans will only push users to offshore platforms. We have already seen this happen in crypto.
Yes, addiction among users is a real risk. But there are better ways to protect them:
-> Set daily/monthly spending limits to prevent overexposure
-> Enforce strict verification to keep minors out and ensure only verified users can play
-> Ban misleading ads like “get rich quick” and mandate responsible play messaging
-> Require platforms to show players their win/loss ratios or odds of winning more clearly
The goal should be to control the flow: bring the industry under structured domestic supervision, close loopholes, and give users all the information they need to play responsibly.
