Should Trump Do This or That? Let’s Be Clear.

Every time we say the President should act unilaterally—whether it's “ignore the courts” or “arrest the judges”—we edge closer to the very authoritarianism we claim to oppose. That’s not leadership; that’s dictatorship. And we need to stop entertaining those ideas.

If we want to be the party of justice, we must uphold the rule of law. We can’t demand loyalty to the Constitution and then turn around and break it ourselves. Doing things the right way doesn’t make us weak—it makes us credible.

The truth is, we don’t need to cut corners. We hold the White House, the Senate, and the House. That’s real power. And with that power, we can pass laws, reform systems, and implement real, lasting change.

Let’s win not just by force, but by principle. That’s how we make our agenda stick—and how we earn the trust of the American people.

I really don’t believe it is his—or anyone else’s—responsibility to tell me what I am. I would like to point you to the Bible, particularly Matthew 5–7, from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount:
“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.”

I would respectfully submit, sir, that you may not be the Christian you present yourself to be. That verse is a direct quote from Jesus Christ—not merely an idea from an author—and you seem unable to follow it.
