NEW: Texas man Carey Birmingham sentenced to just 10 years in prison after murdering his wife after finding out she was cheating on him.

Carey confronted his 48-year-old wife Patricia Birmingham in their driveway with a shotgun.

Right before shooting her, Carey said: "Alright, goodbye. You're going to meet Jesus, I hope it was worth it."

Despite the shocking murder, Carey was sentenced to just 10 years in prison and will be up for parole after five years.

"My dad died that day, too, because the person who did that to my mom and my father aren't the same person," the daughter said.
