“We have never seen anything like it. The White Bull Tavern… they drank the place dry… all that was left was BUDLIGHT” - Bar Managers
Even the Scots won’t drink Bud Light. It’s true they are assimilating to America perfectly.
This is Frank.
He is one of the 200+ unsung heroes volunteering to help with agronomy this week @USOpenGolf.
Today alone Frank will fill over 1,000 divots around Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.
He woke up this morning at 2 a.m. to begin his 4 a.m. shift.
People from all around the world come to help out this week. Frank traveled 600 miles from North Carolina.
"For me this is a World Cup, World Series, national championship rolled into one. There's so much preparation that goes into this. It's phenomenal. Golf course superintendents are an incredible community. I wasn't going to miss this."

Why don’t you go back and answer the questions I posed to you in regard to your claim about “boomers.” Or, are you going to keep avoiding to answer?
“Historical facts are made years later by historians” couldn’t be more inaccurate. Facts are established in real time through documents, records, testimony, and evidence. Historians later interpret, synthesize, and debate the significance of those facts. You’d know this if you had a degree in History, as I do.
@Iamlegnd10@SenRickScott I’m still missing the causal link. Future adoption of AI and robotics doesn’t establish that Boomers are “the worst generation in history.” Those are unrelated claims. How does “Boomers will be surprised by AI” support your original argument?
You made the claim, not me. Historians don’t rank generations as “best” or “worst” without defining criteria and presenting evidence. What are your criteria? Economic policy? Parenting? Wars? Civil rights? By what historical standard are Boomers the “worst”? You continue to make normative claims disguised as factual claims. In other words, you consistently making a broad personal narrative as if it were an established historical fact.
@Iamlegnd10@SenRickScott What? Was in response to the Ai…comment from you.
Here this is more clear:
What point are you attempting to make with the Ai/robot statement.
You disagree? I didn’t give you an opinion. “Something changed” isn’t an argument. The question is what changed, why it changed, and how much weight each factor carries. Blaming one generation for complex social, economic, and cultural trends isn’t historical analysis. Lots of things changed. The question is what changed, why it changed, and how much responsibility belongs to different factors.
Ok but you’re blaming a group when there are many factors that are extremely impactful. It’s not a simple point your finger at the sole cause. Housing affordability, parenting trends, and school culture are influenced by countless factors across multiple generations. Pointing to one generation as the culprit is an oversimplification.
@Iamlegnd10@SenRickScott Housing affordability absolutely has become worse. But blaming an entire generation is intellectually lazy. Housing costs are the product of decades of zoning decisions, monetary policy, regulation, demographics, and local politics. Complex problems rarely have a single villain.
