The Varsity Cup/League can be another avenue to grow the game within university because of bragging right. Look at how emotional Uni games always are.

I have always wished we remove all university sides from Kenya Cup and National 7s leagues and have a proper Varsity Cup for all unis playing Rugby and act as a feeder to the other clubs.

Then the "big clubs" have a smaller league

Strong teams like KCB Kabras and Oilers should even stop participating in 7s tournaments if we are serious about rugby. Let the university and championship sides participate in it.

If you play less games you can even participate in external leagues and tournaments to test yourselves with better teams/nations.
