إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ۞
Innā hadaynāhu as-sabīla immā shākiran wa immā kafūra.
"Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or ungrateful."
Qur'an 76 : 3

"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: 'We believe,' and will not be tested?"
Qur'an 29: 2
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ۞
"And whoever turns away from My remembrance – indeed, he will have a depressed (difficult) life, and We will raise him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
Qur'an 20: 124

مَّنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ ۞
Whoever does good, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against it; and your Lord is not in the least unjust to the servants. Qur'an 41: 46
