Okay so this happened to my cousin when he was 18 and he still thinks about it.
There was this woman at the gas station near his house — Sarah, around 20/21, always nice to him. One night he went to get something for his mum who was waiting at the pump. As he was leaving she just said “Hey, don’t walk home tonight.”
He laughed because his house was five minutes away. She just looked at him and said “I don’t know. Just don’t”

Arabamın motor arıza lambası yandı, "sensördür, bir şey yoktur" diyip sanayiye gittim. Daha bir ay önce aynı yerde triger seti değiştirmiş, 12.000 TL vermiştim. Usta "yarım saatlik iş, bi çay iç gel" dedi. Çay içtim, simit yedim, karşı dükkândaki kediyle bile dost oldum. Bir saat sonra döndüm, kaput açık, usta yanında kafa kaşıyor. "Abla, bi şey diyeceğim ama kızma" dedi. Ben o cümleden sonra kızmamayı başaran birini hâlâ arıyorum.
Önce cihaz bağladılar, arıza tespit 1.000 TL. Meğer yarım saatlik iş "sensör gitmiş, parça siparişi verelim, perşembe gelir" olmuş. Perşembe geldi, parça yanlış geldi. "Doğrusunu sipariş edelim, 4.500 TL." Cuma yeni parça sipariş edildi, "pazartesi kesin" dendi. Pazartesi "kargo gecikmiş" oldu, "ama işçilik 2.000 TL, onu şimdiden söyleyeyim" dendi.
Bu arada ben her gün ustaya "bi haber var mı?" diye soruyorum, usta "abla sakin ol, araba ağır ağır iyileşiyor" diyor. Araba hasta mı, ben mi hasta oldum anlamadım. Her aramada yeni bir kalem çıkıyor: "Bu arada bujiler de bitmiş, 3.000 TL." "Yağ ve filtreler de değişsin, 3.500 TL."
Sonunda arabayı teslim aldım, fatura 14.000 TL. Bir ay önceki triger de üstüne eklenince bir ayda arabaya 26.000 TL yatırmışım. Tam çıkıyorum, usta arkamdan seslendi: "Abla, bu arada baskı balatada da sorun var, tekrar getir bir bakalım, işçilik 5.500 TL." Ben "tamam" dedim ama içimden "bu kez yarım saat dediğinde evden yatağımı getiririm" dedim.
Artık ustayla o kadar samimiyiz ki çırağın adını öğrendim, kedinin adını koydum, bayramda bana tatlı göndersin diye bekliyorum. Ama hesap öyle bir noktaya geldi ki tatlıyı ben alsam daha ucuza gelir.

Siz de arabanızı sanayiye bırakıp "yarım saat" lafına inandınız mı hiç? 😄
