Today marks the 24th anniversary of 24!✨
As the greatest show of the Golden Age of TV, we never forgot that 24 paved the way for all the dramas that followed.
The story was left wide opened, but there is a good chance to see Jack Bauer one final time.

I notice new details in the directing with every rewatch.
Day 2 - Kim finally joining her father after a very long day. And she still has to overcome obstacles: a car, a stretcher, a few extras.
It perfectly mirrors the 24 hrs she has just gone through.
Well done @joncassar 👏🏻
@joncassar I’ve always wondered who “runs” the set, especially in terms of logistics. Is it the same person who communicates information to the actors, like schedules (for example, telling them they need to be there at 7am)?
Hey @joncassar, since Kiefer recently said that he wants to close Jack's story, do you think Carlos might want to do the same? I know that he has been mostly directing for the past years...
In an interview with Deadline, Howard Gordon addressed recent comments by ‘24’ star Kiefer Sutherland about a potential revival of 20th TV’s real-time thriller, on which Gordon served as executive producer/showrunner.
GORDON: It’s absolutely in process, there’s something we are developing. They, meaning Disney [parent company of 20th TV] and such, have not committed to it, so it still is a process. Look, it’s actually no secret, and this is worth saying. I, over the years, and obviously various iterations, not just with Jack, but, trying to spin it off with Corey [Hawkins], and with different people. I’ve also sat through dozens of pitches from other writers. I’ve developed a few. I even did a spin-off.
I have such a nostalgia for that show, and I think Kiefer does too. One thing we couldn’t figure out for a long time was a direction that ever held water, that sustained itself. This feels like it could be, but it’s not formal, it’s not done. And there’s a part of me that also feels like, particularly at this point in my career and in my life, what I really don’t want to happen is that it’s not good because I don’t think that’s fair to the show. It’s not fair to the fans, not fair to, frankly, to myself. So it has to be something that you connect to, or at least you tell yourself you’re connected to. It may not turn out very well, but you have to at least believe that it’s something.

@joncassar@wannaberounder@TV_Fanatic_Girl It's very humble of you to point out that you were not the only director. But what you've accomplished over these 7 years is simply remarkable. You've set the bar incredibly high and are truly one of the reasons for 24's immense success! Again sir, thank you for the memories.
You can look the other way once, and it's no big deal. Except it makes it easier for you to compromise the next time, and pretty soon that's all you are doing because that's the way you think things are done.
✨ I'm proud to share with you a new tribute to THE most iconic show of the Golden Age of TV!

@joncassar Thanks to your many tweets about SW, I started watching it today. Already watched SW + Empire Strikes and currently watching Return of the Jedi
(It's 11pm here in Paris 🇫🇷).
Also, my father was born in Tataouine and left Tunisia for France in 1978 just 2 years after the filming.
