The3engineers have written a set of fun rhyming children's books that raise awareness of environmental issues and promote action to help better the planet.
@StGeorgesPlym How amazing are these pictures and super happy you enjoyed the day. It’s great to see the children were engaged with the story and then took action to help better the planet ❤️
Thank you to @the3engineers and our guest storyteller for making World Book Day so special! Tavy Class loved reading "The Adventures of Scout: Stop Dropping Litter" and took their learning into action straight away with their own litter pick! ♻️🌍📚

The Adventures of Scout are right up there for us and one of the best thought provoking environmental books out there right now. A young problem solving girl meets animals affect by problems and Scout and her friends take action to help better the planet.
💙A huge THANKS to authors Nick Parker & Matt Baron of @The3Engineers for your support and donating their children's books, ‘The Adventures of Scout,’ to inspire and support vulnerable children in emergency care.

It’s World Bee Day today 🐝🐝
To celebrate the day and our little friends we are giving a talk to schools and invite them to take part in creating an up-cycled bee hotel. Why don’t you give it a try with a youngster too.
#worldbeeday#bees#saveourbees

This weekend was @theriverstrust, ‘Big River Watch’ survey, asking individuals to download a really cool and simple to use app, and to answer some basic questions about the local state of our rivers.
Scout has taken part, so could your little ones too 🙂
Girls are 5% less likely to recall learning STEM concepts before the age of 14, and therefore need more support in STEM subjects starting now so future girls have a better chance of pursuing the careers that excite them.
Getting kids excited about #STEM doesn’t have to be purely through worksheets and textbooks. Have you checked out our hands-on STEM resources that helps kids learn by actively engaging and getting outside? Here's a sneak peek and check out our website for the full thing!
Boys have historically been encouraged to study STEM subjects more than girls. We believe that everyone should be encouraged to follow the career path that feels right for them, and we hope that our books can help encourage all kids to follow their dreams, no matter their gender.
How can you introduce STEM to kids? Start off small by simply pointing out STEM careers in books, films or shows they might enjoy, and talk about the things they have in common such as curiosity and problem-solving skills. Start up a conversation and see where it leads you!
Invigorating an interest in STEM subjects in kids as young as in primary schools has been proved by YouGov to make a big impact on who eventually pursues STEM careers.
