We attended the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, hosted by the 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚. The event provided a timely platform for engaging in high-level dialogue on Somalia’s evolving economic priorities and policy landscape.

The conference was both insightful and forward-looking, featuring comprehensive presentations from the Central Bank that offered in-depth analyses of the country’s macroeconomic indicators, financial policy frameworks, and strategic development goals. In addition to technical presentations, the conference featured engaging panel discussions that brought together diverse perspectives on key issues such as financial inclusion, debt sustainability, and Somalia’s transition following the completion of the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) initiative.

As the 7 Institute for Research and Development, we commend the Central Bank of Somalia for its increasing commitment to evidence-based policymaking.
