The “tribe” is comfortable and useful for people with an IQ lower than 100, who have no creativity. Anyone trapped in a “tribe” who dares to think outside the box, try to achieve any kind of excellence, will be nagged back into submission. The greatness of mankind was achieved by societies who could break out of tribal mentality.
@FINALLEVEL as a father that’s not a father yet. I don’t need a day dedicated to my job as a father. I need to be a good father and that’s that. If I ever have kids, i hope they love me back, but if they don’t I’ve still got a job to do.
thats fucked. Man’s got a harmless side gig, and daddy’s little army comes and confiscates it. Those shirts are going to be legendary in the years to come. Just foul. I can’t stand people that enforce silly laws, no one is being hurt. He’s feeding his family and providing for himself, those who buy are happy with the product and wouldn’t have bought the real one.
savant skills sometimes appear suddenly in adults after head trauma with zero prior training, a person waking up post-injury able to play piano fluently or draw photorealistic cityscapes from memory after a single viewing, and the leading explanation isn't that the injury created new ability, it's that damage to one region released inhibition on another region that already had the capacity, running suppressed the whole time under normal operating conditions. which means the constraint was never lack of skill, the skill was already compiled and running, locked behind an inhibitory process whose entire job was to keep it from surfacing, and you have no way of knowing what's currently sitting behind your own working inhibitors, fully built, waiting on a permission structure that may never fail in your lifetime.
