We are excited to announce the formation of the Accelerationism Research Consortium, a brand-new collaborative initiative to bring empirical, in-depth research and creative solutions to the study of insurrectionary accelerationism.
Today, @Jon_Lewis27, @joshmolloy101 and @macklin_gd from @TheARConsortium analyse the phenomenon of Saints Culture, examining its evolution and situating it within the context of the broader milieu of militant accelerationist subcultures.

Happy to share my latest Insight for @TheARConsortium and @GNET_research. I discuss how the aesthetics of violence and worship of militant imagery within the Terrorgram subculture helps cultivate terrorism 'as a style'.
NEW: Important research by @TheARConsortium on the anti-LGBTQ+ terrorist attack in Bratislava in 2022. The report offers insights into the attacker's motivations and influences, as well as his connection to the broader accelerationist ecosystem.

The Bratislava shooter, a neo-Nazi who killed two outside a LBTQ bar, was thought to be a lone wolf. Chillingly that may not have been the case.
He may have actually been aided by someone in Terrorgram, an international group of neo-Nazi propagandists.

boom and here it is. read and share widely. ht @TheARConsortium and @mattkriner. Big big kudos to Julia, twitterless, who was key to all this. https://t.co/LAzy0IRdge
The resulting report about the team's investigation provides a forensic analysis of the attack and its aftermath; the attacker’s life before the attack; and the attacker’s manifesto, suicide note, tweets, and 4chan comments. 5/5

On October 12, 2022, 19-year-old Juraj Krajčík perpetrated a terrorist attack that killed two people and injured one outside a LGBTQ+ bar in the center of Bratislava, Slovakia. He left behind a targeted violence manifesto, a suicide note, tweets, and 4chan comments. 1/5
Importantly, this team of researchers came to the conclusion that some parts of Krajčík’s manifesto and certain tweets were not composed by Krajčík. They suggest that a second, unknown author assisted with or provided language. 4/5

This is a critical point here from @MikeAJensen
One thing that stands out in that temporal range is the introduction of neofascist accelerationism.
Accelerationists are increasingly prominent in digital ecosystems that spit out hate speech, hate crimes, and mass shooters.
We are excited to launch the @GNET_research and @TheARConsortium joint event series about the key facets of militant accelerationism, which will extend throughout 2023. The series will aim to cultivate a shared understanding of militant accelerationism among a diverse audience.
ARC offers the leading expertise on the pulse of a dynamic and rapidly evolving violent extremist movement.

🚨ICYMI two big news items dropped yesterday on militant accelerationism & critical infrastructure attacks.
Atomwaffen Div. founder Brandon Russell & Sarah Clendaniel were arrested for plotting to attack & sabotage power stations in the Baltimore area.

ARC has identified concerted efforts by a network of propagandists within the neofascist accelerationism scene to center critical infrastructure as a desired target within Terrorgram content - @mattkriner and @bjornih tackle that for @GNET_research 👇
