However, their "movability" in the diaspora is more lax and similar to the Latins than in the old countriesn & per each Eparchy's rules. The original 12+ Easter ARE "obligations" yes. 👍🏻

3) How is it different from any institution that has humans, including one's family, workplace, doctor, etc.?

I didn't know who you were but I know 1P5. Why? One of the websites I found so... off... with their understanding of Catholicism.

Perhaps a neutral re-engagement away from that worldview with a more *accurate* Catholic theology might help.

@SteveSkojec If I may one last thing: perhaps the best way to find answers is not reading Orthodox theologians (more confusion), or popular Catholic apologetics.

There are real Catholic academic theologians who have engaged with these topics, and who do so with exquisite nuance.

And I think "Massa Damnata", as well as what it tangibly means in Catholic Teaching, is being misunderstood here.

Particularly when we know to whom Augustine was responding with his theories.
