Because I like numbers and data, I checked historical figures for the record amount of rainfall in a day in Ghana.
1995: Accra had the highest amount of 243.9 mm of rain
Yesterday's rainfall doesn't crack top 5
Funny enough, the first time they went round, it was Stan Dogbe sitting in the president’s seat, pointing and drawing maps like he was analyzing a football match to show how the floods affected people. Then he switched to the back seat and let the president come forward for another tour—only to show him the exact same situation he had already seen, still with no solutions.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Works and Housing is at post, the Greater Accra Regional Minister is at post, the Mayor is also at post—yet nothing is changing. This is my beloved Ghana for you… just settings upon settings, no real action.
As she see say Jerry dey help ein constituents, obaak3 madam too says naa, afor do some😂.. now they have to hold obaak3 before she can walk
I’m praying she doesn’t throw bomb.. or else these Ga people will beat her brutaa
Ghana's founders are watching a minister lie about a public document on a public platform and face no consequence for it. No retraction. No apology. No acknowledgement. That is not surprising to anyone who has watched Ghana's legal and political class operate.
During the reign of Asantehene Opoku Ware I (1720–1750) and Yaa Naa Ziblim Saa, there was a contingent of Asante troops in Dagbon, settling and marrying local women.
The Asantehene frequently refers to the Dagbon Royal Family as "his children," in part because a Yaa Naa (Naa Bukari) married an Asante Oyoko princess.
This morning, i saw this vid, some tribe will start shading asantes but the moment Asante retaliates, the whole Ghana will be calling them tribalistic
At the end of the day, i wana of shata bundle and don little be Asantes
A thief like mona shd be ignored.
@MilanPosts We should stop buying opponents players because they played better than us in a game. These players function in a system and once they come to Milan, they flop. Leave them alone and buy players that fit our ambition
@MilanPosts Why focus on the players when the coach got it all wrong from the start. We were like a relegation team with no drive, passion and style to the game. Sasoulo bossed us and won.
.. watching this Akufo-Addo video from December 2024 feels like one of the sermons on Jeremiah’s cautious prophecies. The old man really knew what was coming if Ghanaians made a mistake to return Mahama to the presidency.
We’re seeing all he cautioned against play out like a Bollywood movie.
@NAkufoAddo, Mahama has actually failed to keep the lights on and has failed on his 24Hour economy promise:
Where I live falls directly under Oforikrom Municipal. You either have to go to Agogo, KNUST or other private hospitals to get a district level facility like this. It is therefore sad that this will be left to rot and be renovated at a higher cost than this.@_GHSofficial
“It’s just the building that was completed. The hospital had no facilities in it”
“Why show us aerial view? Let’s see the inside that has no beds”
Let’s have it 👇🏾
Who are we deceiving? That amount is not enough for the full completion of the 111 facilities. So to insinuate waste and justify you abandoning (some) near completed structures shows how wicked our politicians are...only to move to kiosk HC?
Former Pres. Akufo-Addo spent ₵4.8 billion on Agenda 111 hospital projects, yet not a single facility is in operation... - Kwabena Mintah Akandoh (Health Minister)
