The sad part is she’s not even aware that Zola is alive, Arya is responsible for helping her daughter and infant Zheia escape the destruction, but she left behind to help Zola. She witnessed it all from the destruction their home to being restraint and force to watch Zola being brutalized and wounded in front of her😮‍💨

Meanwhile within Xue Yin’s palace and within the cell walls, Arya remains captive in a separate cell with the remaining surviviors and was enslaved while some decided to join his cause in order to remain free. Arya is exhausted, hair disheveled, grazes and cuts, as her arms are raised and shackled, she remains diligent after 38yrs as her eyes show exhaustion, anger, resentment towards the man she called husband for the atrocity he’s committed.
