@BETMusic @BET needs to show Black people are in every music genre. It does a disservice to Black artist who do not get recognition from their relative genre and Black fans who do see themselves being represented on these shows. #betaw

I don't think Aunty Patty knows the lyrics to Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" #bet

[Akai Taiyo @TheAkaiTaiyo]

@BETMusic can do a better job with diversifying its categories on the BET Awards. Black people are more than just R&B and Hip Hop. We black people in country, heavy metal, classical, salsa, reggaeton and everything in between. #beta

The Ashkenazi Jewish community has become the default image of Jewish people in American media which does a disservice to the Beta Israeli, Igbo, Mizrahi, and other non-white Jewish people. We need to call for more diversification in Jewish rep in media

[Akai Taiyo @TheAkaiTaiyo]

I am aware #YouPeople is supposed to be a take on religious/cultural/racial differences between the AA and Ashkenazi Jewish community, but I cannot help to notice American media continued lack of representation Jewish PoC

@HenryLouisGates it would be interesting to do a Finding Your Roots episode on Haitian-American celebrities @wyclef @GarcelleB. Given our unique history in the Americas, it would be interesting to hear the experience other Haitians in the Americas

Even though it's NOT in the books, interesting to have Aemond as Daemon's son. They look alike, act alike and similar names. The true reason Alicent hates Daemon #HouseOfTheDragon

#BlackInUkraine needs to go viral. We can empathize with white #Ukrainians but do not have accept the mistreatment of non white people in #Ukriane

[jesmin @jesmin_saira]

In this time of war in Ukraine, racism is strong as Blacks, Asians are prevented from going on trains, dragged off busses that their embassies arranged by Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. They have been purposely left stranded #blacksinUkraine #ifrc #polishembassy
