I’m proud to announce that I am nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve on the Supreme Court. Currently serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, she is one of our nation’s brightest legal minds and will be an exceptional Justice.

@The904Agent@uabmedicine The vast majority of the vaxxed hospitalized patients are immunocompromised. For example, a recent sampling of 203 positive cases at UAB Hospital showed 20 fully vaxxed cases (9.8%). Of those, 13 (65%) were immunocompromised.
@ktwebb2@lmadams@SquawkCNBC@ScottGottliebMD To change reporting methodology during the middle of the state's worst COVID-19 surge is a bit fishy. The immediate effect was to show a "decline" in deaths. Definitely misleading.
@rascandas@irvgotti6716 @princeuthmon Doesn't look like it. For residents outside of Philly, you can try through the state's registry. Philly residents can call the city COVID Center. But, that's usually just to get a replacement card.
@irvgotti6716 @princeuthmon Some states allow residents access to a digital vaccine record: AZ, LA, MD, MA, ND, WA and WV (plus Wash, D.C.) use
MyIR Mobile for free. In CA, there's https://t.co/yXrIUg5XWK to access vax records. NYers have the app Excelsior Pass. Hawaii has Hawaii Safe Travels system.
@JSlate__ @CohoKelly Yes, most people do get the 2nd shot. 88% do vs 92% a few months ago. The 18+ 1 dose metric uses the smallest denominator which will yield the highest % # of the usual metrics that are measured CDC. This could lead us to think we are in better shape than we actually are.
@ShaunPMaca@CohoKelly 1 dose? According to British studies, 1 dose is MUCH less effective vs Delta than either 2 doses or vs Alpha (original strain). My question is that the 1 dose metric doesn't seem as relevant in a climate where 1 dose is less effective as it once did. That's all.
@shalomisnow @FirstInFlight80 @cyrusshahpar46 @WHCOS Unfortunately, I don't see how we can make it. We've only been adding 0.1% per day to the totals of US adults w/1 dose. We're currently at 64. 5% of US adults w/1 dose. W/20 days left til 7/4, that would mean another 2%. Even if we doubled current pace, we'd be at about 68.5%.
@EricTopol Unfortunately, I don't see how. We've only been adding 0.1% per day to the totals of US adults w/one dose. We are currently at 64. 4% of US adults w/ one dose. With 21 days left til July 4, that would mean another 2.1%. Even if we doubled the current pace, we'd be at about 68.6%.

With 24 days left til July 4, that would mean another 2.4%. Even if we doubled the current pace, we'd be at about 68.8%.
