@Scott102849981 @SportingKC This move was made to pay players that aren’t good, down off DP level lines, but without their own money. So again, I while it’s not direct savings, the indirect route shows their ineffectiveness as a whole

@Scott102849981 @SportingKC Yes. You’re right. However, It’s inherently money in their pockets because now they’re not using that roster slot, which would clearly cost more than 95% of US players. There’s a reason there’s a limit in the first place, for comp. balance. So MLS sees them as superior as well.

@grant_west2 @sperrydaniel94 You’re absolutely right, but you could also argue they can’t play the double pivot effectively if Shelton isn’t handling his duties on the right, allowing Davis to play a more natural pivot role. Because then we have Radoja (when healthy) there, and he’s much slower than both.
