My latest novel, 'Don't Eat the Hare Before Breakfast' is out now.
An absurd dark comedy full of awkward menace, obsession, and strange social rituals.

Told myself I was most definitely going to work on writing my new novel today. Instead? I’ve been polishing old, already published manuscripts. Will try again tomorrow. I’ve got a lot of scattered thoughts roaming free in my head at the moment.
I just spent 20 minutes freaking out because I was convinced there was only 1 R in February. I swear I just arrived in this universe from someplace where it was spelled Febuary. I am adjusting.
I’ve been doing anything except actually work on my novels this past week. Currently on a side quest where I’m polishing unfinished short stories and submitting them to competitions.
Update.
I am sitting on dark fantasy and kids fantasy novels.
I am working on a dark romantasy novel.
Next up is Dream Farmers 3.
At minimum, one more book out this year (Dream Farmers). Others are tbd.
@SDDonovan For me, it varies based on the project. I always have at least a rough outline of the entire thing, but the actual specifics of how the ending comes about are usually discovered along the way.
@BellaDunnWriter Totally agree. It's difficult to get away from what you had before. Painful to sacrifice parts you liked that weren't working. At least with something new there's no feeling of having lost anything.
I'm currently running an ARC for my new absurd comedy novel, Don't Eat the Hare Before Breakfast.
If you enjoy bleak, bizarre comedy, social discomfort, or stories that keep you asking "How could this possibly get more deranged?" before immediately getting more deranged, DM me🕺
This is all subject to change, of course, as I have other, non-book projects I'm planning, such as screenplays, short films, and a boardgame. It's also possible that I end up focusing on a different book idea that is calling to me above the others. Anyway, more info soon.

Update and plan for 2026:
Last year I wrote three books. One was the novella 'In the Absence of Spring' which I published early in the year. I then spent most of the year working on a dark fantasy project that grew way bigger than I had anticipated.

If I don't do Dream Farmers 3 next, I'll be working on a romantasy novella connected to my dark fantasy project, and I will then get to Dream Farmers 3 later in the year. At absolute minimum, I plan to have 2 books published in 2026. But if all goes well, it could be 4.
