@drantbradley Thank you for highlighting young men like this and the good that happens in fraternities. I worked for a National fraternity for 4 years traveling across the country developing resources pointing undergrads back to our Christian ideals. I’ve seen much good among the bad.
Wesley's covenant prayer makes a good extension to Heidelberg Catechism's first answer. My only comfort is that I am not my own, therefore I can pray this prayer to God:
@DavidACBennett I’m so appreciative of your witness, David. I’m likewise challenged and encouraged by the faithfulness of “side b” Christians regardless of semantics. I praise God that you and others exist!
For YEARS I hear "we need a conversation on race" but seldom do I hear much conversation. THIS was a substantive conversation about matters I've seen all my life. Thank you @BretWeinstein for hosting it and to @cvaldary and @JohnRWoodJr and others https://t.co/soDgKBYXjN
The real conspiracy is satanic and it’s goal is to get you to focus on “global meta whatever’s” that you can do almost nothing about and neglect the place of prayer, the word, and sacrificial love of neighbor.
A sobering comment from the Surgeon General:
“This is going to be the hardest and the saddest week of most Americans’ lives. This is going to be our Pearl Harbor moment, our 9/11 moment, only it’s not going to be localized; it’s going to be happening all over the country."
@kevinwatson Thank you for your words and witness. I believe you are standing in the gap with grace and truth and appreciate your voice in this difficult time. Please be encouraged.
Friends sometimes tell me they wish they had my faith.
When this happens, I gently point out that they do: they just put it in other things.
Faith isn't an extra app that some people have. It's our core OS.
Yesterday @KanyeWest showed up and performed in a Houston-area prison.
Look at these faces. Each one known, and loved, and not forgotten by the God who made them.
