What Manoj Muntashir said about you really resonated with me, because I have to say, Amaal I didn't know those songs I have been listening to were yours and you won me over too not just with your music, but with your personality during BB. It would be a lie to say there weren’t a few moments when I was a little upset with you😅 but then I realized.... that was also part of who you are.

Once I understood that you’re just incredibly innocently, annoyingly at times but absolutely unfiltered and didn't care to ever be diplomatically correct, so much started making sense cuz till then I kept thinkin - Itna saaf dil and and genuinely oblivious kaise ho sakta hai? 🤔

At times, you behave with the innocence of my little nieces and then suddenly you’re this brilliant composer, an extremely talented musician and someone who is incredibly sharp and intelligent. You really are a complex personality. Samajh aa gaye toh phir har cheez predictable and if nahi samajh aaye toh people will probably spend forever wondering what exactly you’re up to and misjudge every move

Your personality has been unfolding before me like an onion - One layer at a time. And every time another layer reveals itself, there’s something new to contemplate and admire🤗

I genuinely think you’re an old soul born in the wrong era. That’s just my personal opinion.

As Manoj pointed out - What's considered your weakness today would have been your strength if it was a lil older times. I guess - Perhaps the problem is with this era...

Times today - Where speaking your heart, standing by what you believe and refusing to follow made-up rules can somehow make you the problem. Everyone is so accustomed to pleasing others and being politically correct that authenticity itself has become unusual and at time threatening for those who lack.

And that’s probably why when you simply say how you feel, publicly and without worrying too much about the consequences, ruffles feathers. But I’d take that authenticity over a perfectly curated personality any day!

In addition to this there is the glimpse into your childhood through the Mashable India conversation🥹❤️ Listening to you and Daboo uncle talk about your grandparents..... those memories, those galliyan and that whole world you grew up in.... It genuinely felt like a little trip down memory lane.

For a few of us 90s kids, there was something so beautifully nostalgic about hearing those stories from your dad's childhood and yours - a simpler time, a different kind of childhood, memories that can’t really be recreated. And that era - Don't know why but I feel your soul travelled to a lil later - you were meant for another time! The beautiful era where legends like your Grandfather Mr. Sardar Malik left their mark. Despite everything, your mark has been made and keeps stretching over the past 12 yrs

A small appreciation and thank you and thanks to Daboo uncle, for having shared a little piece of that world with us🫰
