Now in the epilogue of The Last Story, which I'll probably finish this weekend. Game's great, probably better than I remembered even. Frankly the plot itself is just okay, but I really do love the main cast and their constant bickering and banter.

Helps that I'm (not) using emulation to boost the resolution but it's a great looking game. I hope with Mistwalker getting Fantasian on consoles they'll at least revisit TLS' combat mechanics. A pipe dream I fear.

It's a shame The Last Story never got a sequel because the combat mechanics are so good. I love how a lot of the major encounters are set-up to make good use of Zael's moveset.
