Sonic community about to experience their own AEG: either it be generational maulding or dissolves into actually being terrible for everyone or both or neither.
A new ‘SONIC’ animated series is in the works at Netflix.
The series will be made for an upper pre-school audience that want to “feel a little edge & a little attitude.”
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac If for what its worth, the final true boss is actually pretty good, with the mario odyssey dragon showing up and having a solid fight cycle and sections in defeating it, with QTE's and hopes and dreams to finishing it off.
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 Plus all the bosses got like 3 extra hit points (which I mean is now at the correct 8 hits like the classics) but take longer to kill lol
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 Ohhh yea I forgot about the bosses.
Since if you played the main story for all emeralds, you do start out at the beginning with all the powers and super form, and with Trip, shes just too op that you can just fly in front of a boss and just spam fire lmao.
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac Oh no definitely, but if the anniversary game included original zones that are just as fun if not better than the classic revamps, then you can't help but beg for more really.
For what it is, its charming and fun, but nothing much over if you know what I mean.
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac I legit don't think it was as bad as ppl thought, and honestly I prefer the extra enemies they added and where you can use Trip's ability to basically be like the spike wisp in colours in traversing the level.
The final bosses for both suck but its just a cycle, they're fine.
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac I mean I can vouch that the main story is good, the levels are great, the gimmicks for the most part is alright but fun, the bosses suck but some are pretty fun (like the Clown in PCZ), and the special stages are fun too.
Its just fun.
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac Tbf you aren't gonna know how the game is when you first playthrough it lmao.
If elements turn out to be shit but you like the levels and all, then time attack is that option and that is where ppl find magic.
Then that practice is put into 2nd and 3rd playthroughts and etc.
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 -standout due to it being just one act, and those stages are done so well and don't overstay their welcome, which I feel are more special and fun to play.
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 Yo same, main issue I have besides it being kinda just a nostalgia trip, is that its just too long to play through in a flow, like S3&K.
Soupstars is unironically better in flow since you do get traditional 2 act stages per zones however select zones-
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 -you can realistically still play without using a single wisp (yk obviously besides boost so by that logic, your run with colours would end lmao).
Which I argue is just as fun in finding ways to go through the stages over the stuff intended for wisps, like a puzzle.
@SuperstarsMac@schoffle64337 Plus it does give you a fucking hint at the bottom of the screen as "HEY, LISTEN, USE PLANT" or smth like that.
Its not like the game isn't made in mind to use them, its just as well made to someone who can work without using them.
Things while colours says for you to use it-
@schoffle64337@SuperstarsMac Sir the levels are 70% of the game, 20% being the bosses and minibosses and exclusive bosses, and the 10% being the powers themselves, which YOU CAN raise that 10% to 50% if you do utilize them in levels and bosses strategically.
YOU are what make the game's worth to you.
