Cartoon Network's new animated revival, Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, has become a global streaming success, currently ranking as the number two show worldwide on HBO Max.

The series returns to the world of J.G. Quintel's original eight-season hit, following the misadventures of park groundskeepers Mordecai and Rigby. To preserve the original show's definitive ending, the revival avoids changing established canon. Instead, it presents "missing chapters" set during the original timeline, with the first episode featuring Pops in the afterlife trying to fix his favourite tape of the duo.

Although it is a major international hit on HBO Max, the series is not currently streaming on that platform in the United States. US fans can watch new episodes weekly on Cartoon Network or buy them on video-on-demand services, with a Hulu release planned for later this year.
