@PalmyrPar A normal rifle with a standard shooting position with a bipod is going to be a far more stable and be significantly less impacted by body movement (especially breathing).

You dont really use this type of weapon for fire and movement, so the shoulder option is pointless

The US is tired of securing trade routes for everyone. The Hormuz situation is painful for all but least so for them. They view it as an acceptable cost since it is primarily paid by those they view as freeloaders.

@MMaenpaa1 People really do underestimate it, and it can be difficult to explain how in a dry-cold environment you are generally just fighting a back-and-forth with the cold, while in a wet-cold environment you end up fighting a losing battle of attrition against wet.
