pectra upgrade has set in motion great things for us @web3shield - we've wanted to make sure the ux of defi apps remains unaffected even if a user opts in for insurance
before eip7702 it was only possible by using wrapper contracts or embedding the logic into the contracts; one was a gas nightmare for users and the other expensive/cumbersome for our partners
tnx bhailog @VitalikButerin@_SamWilsn_@adietrichs@lightclients
@apoorveth was going to rant about erc20 received before realising I was doing the same for eth transfer events earlier - slow and steady it is
ticker continues to be eth
[Important Announcement]
We have successfully recovered $467,000 and granted the white-hat bounty of ~$76,000 to conclude the negotiations.
All the funds have been secured on: 0xb289a8ce40B2C8b053200cB28265cbF0aAd1EFf2
We want to congratulate the Filament users, partners and community on the funds recovery.
As per our commitment (shared below), we will be:
> Refunding the recovered amount to non-institutional and institutional users within next 7 days.
> Categorizing this incident as white-hat bounty and withdrawing from the legal actions.
We want to also extend our gratitude to the hackers to operate in good faith and respond to our request for negotiation.
What we still need help with?
> Releasing funds seized by @FixedFloat (10 ETH) - it will further help the users.
The amount is really small for law enforcement to get involved and holding on to the user funds wouldn't be fair.
We are happy to KYB or coordinate with any responsibile party at Fixed Float for immediate release of funds.
We are thrilled to announce that Web3Shield has become an official partner at @circle Alliance Program! ๐ฅ

a few years ago, I went fishing on the Persian Gulf
there was a middle eastern dad teaching his son, probably about 6 years old, how to fish
it reminded me of how my dad used to teach me โ cool moment
about 20 mins after, the kid actually caught one โ pretty impressive size too, I was jealous ngl
they then started celebrating and asked me to take a picture of them, and so I did and handed the phone back to them
I was shocked at what happened next
they put the phone down and went back to fishing
I was starting to get pretty red at this point, not sure where they learned their manners
"aren't you going to tokenize the picture asshole?" โ I said
they looked at me puzzled, probably because they didn't speak an ounce of English
I then took the fish from the kid, threw it back in the Gulf, and roundhouse kicked the dad in the jaw
he then fell in the Gulf, and the boy started crying
I kneeled down, looked him in the teary eyes and told him: "remember kid, don't you dare disrespect creators ever again"
shortly after, he took a picture of his dad in the water (who didn't know how to swim I don't think), tokenized it, and launched a shitter
this is how we bring the world onchain ๐
Every evening, no matter what kind of day it's been, I step back with a glass of watermelon juice and take a pause.
I don't do anything special. Don't meditate. Don't journal. Just sit with my watermelon juice (and maybe an occasional snack ๐ซ ) and watch my favourite shitcoin go to 0.
This simple moment has kinda become an anchor in my day. A moment where nothing needs fixing or responding to.
We talk so much about productivity hacks and optimization, but honestly? Just watching your net-worth plummet with no agenda might be the most important 15 minutes of my day <3
