You realize, Mr. Ambassador, that a tunnel system is the literal definition of a DEFENSIVE fortification, right? And who might they be defending against?
I’m just thinking out loud here, wild idea, but: perhaps it’s against the country that has attacked and invaded into Lebanon multiple times since 1982. Maybe it’s the country that invaded in 2006. Maybe it’s the country that invaded in 2024. Maybe it’s against the country that has assassinated their leaders throughout the decades? Maybe it’s the country that’s attacking them now in 2026.
Wild idea, I know, but at least worth consideration. 😑
Land mines and IEDs are exclusively defensive weapons. This is almost funny.
Best way to not hit a land mine or roadside bomb is to stay in your country.
the reason why Palestine isn’t being seen anymore is because there’s barely any journalists left. Lebanon is going through a severe escalation. Palestine is still going through a genocide. 150k people were killed in Sudan. People in congo are being killed. Don’t stop talking.
This is Damascus, the capital of my country.
Israel bombed it less than a year ago, despite the fact that not a single shot had been fired at Israel from Syria for over 60 years.
This had nothing to do with Iran, Hezbollah, or Hamas. It was part of Israel’s efforts to interfere in the country’s internal affairs and keep it divided and weak.
So when Israelis claim that Israel does not attack those who do not attack it, Damascus proves otherwise.
NEW: Cops chased the wrong guy. They followed him and intentionally crashed into his car twice, causing it to flip and catch fire. They fired 27 shots and then waited outside as Navy veteran John Andrew Jenuwine bled out and died. https://t.co/hUae8JSSdy
The average vehicle on American roads is now 13 years old.
A record high.
10% older than just a decade ago.
People are not keeping old cars because they love them.
They are keeping them because a new car costs $50,000.
The monthly payment is $800.
Insurance is $200 more than it used to be.
And gas is $4.24 a gallon.
This is how you push through universally unpopular legislation. You start with attacks on groups most people don't care about (sex workers), under the guise of something many support (protecting kids). Then you keep increasing the heat until the frog sits in boiling water.
The number 1 thing pisses me off today is how every company realized they can still technically operate at the bare minimum if they run a skeleton crew for everything. So now every service sucks, both for the workers and the customers, and we can't do anything.
