Hey! So $EOSE is having its big yearly shareholder meeting today (June 3). One key vote is to let the company create more shares.

If it passes, they’ll probably soon file an 8-K saying the exact “record date” for a special rights offering. That’s like a cutoff day: if you own shares then, you get first dibs to buy extra shares + warrants (bonus tickets) in their new project.

Short sellers (people betting the price drops) who are borrowing shares on that record date will owe those valuable rights to the lender. Big banks (prime brokers) hate that risk, so they often force shorts to buy back shares quickly to cover. That buying pressure can push the price up. The “10-day countdown” is basically the window where this starts happening once the date is official.

One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” That sounds beautiful until life stops making sense. It’s easy to trust God when everything is going well, but harder when doors close, plans change, prayers seem delayed, or life takes an unexpected turn. That’s exactly when this scripture matters most. It doesn’t say trust God when you understand everything. It says trust Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. There will be seasons where you don’t have all the answers and moments where God’s plan looks different than the one you had in mind. God has never asked us to understand everything, He’s asked us to trust Him. Every time I look back over my life, I see moments where God was guiding me even when I couldn’t see it. So if you’re facing uncertainty today, remember: God is already ahead of you, in the situation you’re worried about, and still making a way, even if you can’t see it yet.

There were once two boys who grew up in the ‘mean streets’ of New York, born one year and a few blocks apart. They weren’t from the poorest families but they were far from rich.

One of the boys was fully Italian, the other had an Italian father, and an Irish mother. Growing up, they saw ‘wiseguys’ and made men and gangsters in the street. They saw the gangs, even had friends who joined them... their early childhood was Goodfellas.

One of the friends was the son of an actress-turned-seamstress. The other was the son of a painter who had left his wife because he was gay — his mother had been an artist.

Not surprisingly, both kids inherited the ‘artistic gene’ from their parents and, from their fathers’ humble immigrant origins, a strong drive to make it in the world.

The two boys grew into men and went their separate ways. They met again in their twenties. The half-Irish one, the tallest and most handsome of the two, had gone to acting school and was now an actor known as Robert De Niro.

His friend, a creative fellow but too short for leading man status, was Martin Scorsese. Scorsese wanted to recreate the world they had grown up in and make it come to life for a young audience largely unfamiliar with it. Mean Streets. Taxi Driver. Raging Bull. The King of Comedy. Goodfellas.

Scorsese directed movies. De Niro acted in them. As it turned out, Scorsese was a damned fine director, and script writer. De Niro was a damn fine actor. They would come to define cinema in many ways, and put their mark on the genre of mafia films and organised crime drama like no one else before them, and no one else after.

While Trump's own financial disclosures show him trading stock in companies his administration then hands billion-dollar contracts to, Don Jr.'s SHADY investment connections to Pentagon contractors receive almost NO scrutiny from mainstream media.

"Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5 billion in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted." Also TRUE, but that story got almost NO coverage.

And then Hunter Biden delivered the punchline that lands like a sledgehammer: "And I know: 'But what about your paintings, Hunter?'"

HUNTER IS 100% RIGHT: His art sales, laptop, and legal troubles consumed years of breathless media coverage. The Trump children's CORRUPT overseas business deals, foreign investments, Pentagon contracts, and connections to Jeffrey Epstein's associates a free pass.

And while Jake Tapper attacks Jill Biden is being attacked for a book, Jared Kushner is bulldozing protected wetlands for a $4 billion resort while his father-in-law runs foreign policy, while raising BILLIONS from shady deals with foreign governments.

There is simply NO comparison!

Viggo Mortensen is in Carlito’s Way for one scene, and somehow Lalin feels like he has an entire movie behind him.

That’s what makes Viggo’s performance so good. He doesn’t play Lalin as a random lowlife or comic relief. He gives him history, damage, resentment, and that pathetic kind of desperation that makes you understand why Carlito still feels something for him, even when he knows he shouldn’t.

In just a few minutes, Viggo turns Lalin into a warning sign. He’s what happens when the old life doesn’t kill you cleanly but leaves you broken and bitter.

I also love how smart Carlito is. He immediately senses something is off.
