Here is the Akali deck I used in my top 8 case tournament performance!
Rounds were -
R1 Nasus ✅❌✅
R2 Kennen ❌❌
R3 Pack Ezreal ❌✅✅
R4 Reksai ✅✅
R5 Draw into Top 8
I feel the deck is in a very strong place - going to make a few changes but nothing radical!
This is my current Diana list based on the latest RQs and some testing.
I’m definitely not the best player out there, but I think this list can do some damage in the right hands. Still unsure about cutting smoke Screen/eclipse, but let’s see.
Let me know what you think 🙏
Does anyone else feel like they play way better #Riftbound online? 😂
Not only is the @PlayRiftatlas layout super clean and everything’s easier to track, but I swear I make better decisions when I’m not sitting across from someone at a tournament nervous as hell 💀
Two Best-of Diana lists made Top 8 at the Wuhan Regional Open 👀
Pretty standard for a China list, they still have some really interesting ideas:
Invert Timelines main
Sandswept Tomb / Forbidden Waste as BFs
Retreat main
Angler Beast side
Might be worth testing some of these.
Congratulations to Adtoll on winning the Wuhan Regional Open! 🏆
Adtoll defeats Kennen in the finals with a score of 2-0 using his unique Heron Irelia decklist!

Won a Skirmish today, BYE for next weekend secured 🙌🏼 no more R1 loss shenanigans 😭
back to basics with the decklist today, and finally trying out 3x Stacked Deck. Feels really nice actually
Matchups and scores below ⬇️
2 Skirmishes this weekend, 2 wins ✌️ and that's both the BYEs for SG and LA secured! 🙏
used same list as yesterday, but it's time to try this Heron Irelia out.. 😈 once had a similar idea but never got to try it due to lack of time, glad to have a blueprint to work on now😙
Won an 8 round skirmish playing a slightly modified of my barcelona list (sideboard not shown since it was super tuned for local meta). Broke my 25-0 undefeated win streak at locals though due to getting double culled by a new player on reksai in back to back games :c
Been on a bit of an Akali break, so this is where I’ve landed after some testing with Zed. Big fan of the trash/graveyard style of play, Grixis/Sultai is my fav color combo from mtg and I’ve been trying to replicate that style of deck in Riftbound for a hot minute. Still don’t think this list isn’t fully there but some notes:
- Seals are a must for this deck, so many power costs but feels super unavoidable. Between Zed’s ability and all the necessary spells/equipment you are constantly using purple power.
- Gust Monk is likely a 2 of but I’ve been having a hard time cutting cards for it.
- There are so many tricks in this deck, love how well it can adapt to many scenarios, especially with all this trash access.
- I’ve found the Kharox/Tornado Warrior line to be incredibly strong and worth shooting 3 of each. I have debated switching these out for something that has more synergies with Zed.
- Vi is a great win con but only works in some scenarios - and doesn’t work with Rhasa at all.
- Battlefields feel great, seems like this deck has a ton of battlefield options, could lean more into the equipment with Forge, or more into the fact that Zed and others are 5M+ > and put in Sunken Temple.
Gonna keep testing and playing this deck, absolutely in love with the style.
Cards I'd consider buying/selling right now. Origins edition.
First: big Razzle Dazzle at 36$. BUY. A gear that acts like a condom for other gears is 100% coming!
(Something like a 2 energy gear "you may redirect a enemy spell or ability that targets another friendly gear to target me instead.")
