@_disque8_ If this is true, then I am disappointed. I always hated how Marvel keeps shoving Mr. Sinister into his Scott's origin for years. I don't if it's "canon" its dumb, too complicated, and unnecessary.
@DoomriderX@l_pool_l@EbullientSMP I love Iyashikei. I think when anime fans today think of drama, they automatically think of anime like Rent a Girlfriend (which i actually like but that's besides the point)
@l_pool_l@EbullientSMP All romance anime fans today believe in no drama. They say "Blue Box gets better after the love triangle, Flagrant Flowers and Horimya are popular because the main couple "actually communicate" and i like those shows, but sometimes we need drama sometimes for character growth
@ShitpostRock I side eye this person calling Himmel and Quifrey gentle masculine. Himmel is soft voiced but is also arrogant and narcissistic which was an aspect of him Frieren didn't like. Quifrey is effete but also known by fans to be very morally questionable.
@Bongl0id@MCUFilmNews You're right, but since they said they are starting out with just the og 5, he can't be blue automatically since he was not always like that and given the morally ambiguous angle they are going for the mutants, they may change the interpretation of the transformation
@Bongl0id@MCUFilmNews Knowing they are starting off with the original 5, he might not be blue because in the 60s, he wasn't blue until Claremont in the 70s. In the 60s, he was just a big guy with big hands and feet to make him look like a monkey.
@SergeiKravin0ff@spidermanias As a comic book fan for years, i always interpreted Spider Sense as a upgrade in Peter's spatial awareness when he goes into fight or flight mode
@Darth_mischief@e_fosa08 He could have met Gwen and Harry the same way in the comics, through Aunt May. In the comics, she was hospitalized and in the movies, she is dead, and he isolated himself. Gwen and Harry hated his attitude at first, but Peter opened up and they became best friends.
@IncroyableSauce I remember in one of the early issues that Peter was so angry at Flash because he was dating Liz Allen at the time,he went to Flash's car and beat the shit out of it until it was broke with a golf club I think
@rikuudesign@GU2696 She was Jiwoong college friend that had a crush on him. You saw her when she was trying to do a study date with him until Jiwoong saw Ahyoung went into the convenience store
@Finalkingdom3 One thing that I noticed is the use of cultures between the last chapter and this chapter. Kazuya is in the heart of Japanese work culture but was actimg like a kid in a job fantasy while Chizuru is acting out the American Hollywood fantasy but this is her goal/reality
@kenzie__xcx actual method acting is a temporary routine spell that an actor put themselves under so they won't break character. Best example is Daniel Day Lewis in Lincoln making crew call him Mr. President while filming. Daniel Day Lewis and Marlon Brando are the best male method actors
@apostate21263@SergeiKravin0ff Yeah but the Pheonix is an entire construct that took over her body when she died, and was corrupted when Mastermind pulled a illusion on it to SA and brainwash her so she can join the Hellfire Club. Jean had no agency during that
@HiHeyXD@TheresaCampagna I think right now, if Marvel plays their cards right with Doomsday/Secret Wars and Mutant Saga, we might see the fall of Stark. not just the person but also his legacy, and maybe the Baxter Building will replace it with Fantastic Four becoming celebrities again
@bigmonkeong@3HiddenKeys Yeah if any argument for an allegory can be made, it's physical/mental diseases like cancer, depression, schizophrenia, down syndrome, epilepsy etc... diseases that people contract that are out of their control and people don't know the nuances of their issues
@heroesahead@Ron_Crosby Keep in mind too Damage Control was created by Stark Industries, I mean they fired Vulture's construction team cause they didn't want their workers to see the truth. They're kinda like Amanda Waller in a way
@a1123king@ToxcynTV@jondelarroz He didn't know they were lying at the time. She could of just asked "yo why are you working for them? They' responsible for my sister" her telepathy wasn't overriding her brain like her original origin. So she had full autonomy
