The BBC Bus travels around England woking for BBC Local Radio. From Large outside broadcast to station Promotion. From Lands End to Berwick-Upon-Tweed.
Today should be the final day (for us) of the Meresy River Festival. Along with Liverpool’s VE celebrations it was looking like a great weekend of events across the city. Hope we can be with you next year. #staysafe. @bbcmerseyside
Today should have been the start of the @letouryorkshire. The bus should have been in Redcar for at the end of today’s stage, broadcasting on @BBCTees. We love the tour and can’t wait to get out again and we are missing our friends at @Welcome2Yorks. #StayHomeSaveLives
Today 1000s of people should be pounding the streets of London along a 26.21 mile circuit. The BBC Bus should also have been there helping @BBCLondonSport with its coverage. Lucky this event hasn’t been called off but has been postponed. See you all in October. #StayAtHome
If it was normal time we should be a Wembley Stadium today for the first FA Cup Semi Final. We don’t yet know if or when the this years game will go ahead so we are looking back to last years semi final with @BBCSussex

For many people the coronavirus lockdown means relying on friends, neighbours and social media. But for those who don't have access to any of that, their local radio station, like @BBCSussex has become a vital tool for support and companionship. #BBCMakeADifference
Thousands of people today are battling coronavirus.
They are someone's child, sibling, parent, loved one & friend.
I wish all of them a speedy recovery & am sending love.
Our Prime Minister is in Intensive care.
That tells you how serious this is.

Well today the BBC Bus should have been in Coventry for the Coventry 1/2 marathon. One of a number of events that have been called off due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
We would have been broadcasting for @BBCCWR
This is what we got up to last year.....

The BBC Bus, (like the rest of the world), is off the road at the momnet with no large events happening. We still have some things in the calendar but until this is over we plan to stay safe. (Adrian has work to do from home) Stay safe and stay home.
