โI started forex trading in Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ at the age of 19years old.
At 21years old, I made over $937,000 profit within 11 months of active trading after one year of constant losses.
Bought my first car; a 2024 BMW X4 as my 22nd year birthday gift; built a duplex for my parents in the village and got myself a house in Lekki
Proposed to my high school lover this December and planning to start a family in 2026.โ
This is the kind of post that goes viral on this app. When you see them, donโt think less of yourself or think life has not favored you; or youโre rather late.
Whether youโre 25, 30, 35, 40 or even older, you still got time. Stop focusing on others and start focusing on you.
Identify what you want in life, write it down and find out what you must do to get it.
Donโt stop until you get it.
Your story may be the next story that will inspire someone; it will not happen if you do nothing.
Get to work!
met a guy at the gym yesterday
driving a $95k BMW M4
gucci belt
designer everything
"bro nice car"
"thanks man just got it"
"what do you do?"
"i trade"
"oh sick, prop firms or personal?"
"prop firms, got 3 accounts"
"damn how much you making?"
"like $8k a month across all three"
"that's solid, how much you withdrawing?"
"all of it bro, gotta enjoy the money"
"what about your car payment?"
"$1,847 a month"
wait what
this mf is making $8k/month
and spending $1,847 on a car payment
23% of his income
on a depreciating asset
to impress people at red lights
i asked about his accounts
"how much buffer you keeping?"
"buffer? nah i withdraw everything, gotta live life"
"you're one bad month away from blown accounts"
"nah bro i'm consistent"
3 weeks later
saw him posting about losing all 3 accounts
same guy
now back to buying challenges
because he had zero buffer
and the BMW payment still due
meanwhile
i drive a 2019 toyota
paid in cash for $18k
no payment
no insurance premium for "luxury vehicle"
no stress
and i withdrew $31k last month from prop firms
kept $15k in buffers across accounts
withdrew $16k to myself
paid myself first
car second (paid off)
lifestyle third
the difference:
BMW guy:
- $8k income
- $1,847 car payment
- $0 buffer
- 3 blown accounts in month 4
- back to square one
- car getting repossessed
- flex on instagram
toyota guy (me):
- $31k income
- $0 car payment
- $15k in buffers
- 0 blown accounts in 18 months
- accounts growing
- financially free
- zero flex needed
you're not rich because you have a nice car
you're rich because you DON'T NEED a nice car to feel valuable
the BMW guy needed validation
i need freedom
the BMW guy is one bad month from broke
i'm one good month from buying 3 BMWs cash
but i won't
because i'm not trying to impress strangers
i'm trying to build wealth
there's a difference between LOOKING rich and BEING rich
looking rich:
- car payment
- designer clothes
- flex on social media
- broke in private
- stressed about bills
- one bad month = disaster
being rich:
- no payments
- normal clothes
- quiet on social media
- wealthy in private
- no stress
- bad month = buffer absorbs it
the traders making $50k+/month
they drive normal cars
live in normal houses
and you'd never know they're rich
because they don't need you to know
the traders making $8k/month with $2k car payments
they drive luxury cars
live beyond their means
and everyone knows they're "rich"
but their bank account tells a different story
fake rich is loud
real rich is silent
fake rich buys liabilities
real rich builds assets
fake rich needs a BMW to feel successful
real rich doesn't need external validation
i see traders all the time
funded accounts
making $5k-10k per month
and they immediately go buy:
- $80k car (payment)
- designer clothes
- expensive apartment
- bottle service
then they lose the accounts
and they're stuck with:
- $1,500 car payment
- clothes that depreciate
- rent they can't afford
- zero income
all because they needed to LOOK successful
instead of BEING successful
the gym bro with the BMW
he'll be back to a 9-5 in 6 months
telling people he "used to trade"
meanwhile i'll still be withdrawing
driving my camry
living free
the question is:
do you want to look rich for 6 months then go broke?
or build wealth quietly for years?
most of you will choose the BMW
and blow your accounts trying to maintain an image
the few who choose the camry
will actually make it
Quick sales tip:
Use the exact language your prospects use in describing their problem.
E.g. My ads keep dyingโฆand Iโm unable to scale the campaigns
Donโt pitch: This product will teach you how to stop your ads from fatiguingโฆand show you how to lower your CPA so you can grow your business.
They didnโt use those wordsโฆwhy are you using them?
Insteadโฆ
Pitch: This course will show you how to ensure your ads stop dying. And how you can scale your campaigns effectively.
Sales is effective communication.
And the goal of communication is to be understood (then persuade) not to impress.
@Coach_Benjamin3 I understand how you feel. It's completely normal to have days where the stress and exhaustion make showing up seem impossible. But your message about having a strong "why" discipline and consistency resonates deeply. It's the fire that keeps us going even when the path get tough
@BuildWithVictor Your points are all excellent! They capture the key reasons why storytelling is a must for marketers.
Stories can also inspire action. A well-told story can motivate potential customers to try your product, subscribe to your newsletter, or follow you on social media.
@JoyAmos795 The vision may not be for today, but it fuels the passion and inspires to continue making a positive impact in the world, knowing that God's timing is always perfect.
@UAmazinglove Preparation matters,ย but don't underestimate the power of agility and adaptation.ย The business landscape is ever-changing,ย so let's build a foundation of knowledge and flexibility to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
@SonDavidkilTips Beyond schedules, success involves fulfilling your purpose. What ignites your passion? Invest in activities that align with your values and make each day meaningful. Start crafting a life that fuels your soul, not just your mood."
@Christyokore Would go for freedom.
Freedom encompasses various aspects, including financial independence, autonomy over your time, and the ability to make choices aligned with your beliefs. It empowers you to live authentically and pursue your desires.
Fear of failure, judgment, or the unknown often holds us back.
Instead, reframe challenges as opportunities for growth.
View setbacks as stepping stones, embrace discomfort as a catalyst for learning, and see uncertainty as an exciting adventure.
